Which rubber ducky will win the Warminster Ducky Regatta?

A springtime tradition is set to return to Warminster for another year, and the whole community is invited to join in the fun.

This will be the 23rd year for the annual Rubber Ducky Regatta, and it is being held through the support of both Citadel and the Warminster Parks and Recreation Department. It will see hundreds of ducks released into Neshaminy Creek, and the first four that cross the finish line will float their way to victory.

Members of the public can purchase a ducky number, each of which will correspond to one of the ducks. The holder of the number that crosses the finish line first will receive $200, second place is $150, third spot will be awarded $100, and fourth place will get $50. The tickets are being offered for $5.00 each or five for $10. The winners do not need to be on site to claim their prize, but they are highly encouraged to come and join in the excitement of the day. Banners and other decorations for this type of community event can be supplied by an area printer.

The race will be held on May 20, and the public will gather in Kemper Park to see which ducky comes in first. Tickets can be purchased through the Warminster website or in person at the Library, the Township Building, or at Citadel on Street Road.
