Local event set to celebrate Earth Day

Earth Day is a worldwide event that celebrates the connection between people, the planet and the other creatures they share it with. The Warminster area will be marking the day with a variety of activities, including one that will be hosted by Newtown’s Rose Bank Winery.

This evening workshop will see members of the public come together to learn how to craft their very own “succulents in a bottle” planter, which they can take away with them to display in their home or other setting. While they work, attendees will be welcome to enjoy a glass of one of Rosebank Winery’s selections.

Participants will be provided with all the supplies they need to complete the project, including stones, an upcycled wine bottle that has been cut vertically, and a cork to help keep it in place. They will also be given three succulents to install in their new planter, and instruction will be offered.

The registration fee for this Earth friendly evening is $50, and it is expected to fill up quickly. Flyers and other recyclable Promotional Products can fit in well with the overall “Earth Day” theme of an event like this, and they can be sourced from a flyer printing company.

The scheduled start time for this crafty evening is 6:30 pm, and it will be held on April 22nd. It will be offered at 258 Durham Road in Newtown.
