Hospice fundraiser planned for Warminster

Volunteers at a Warminster healthcare facility are hosting an event they hope will make the holidays a little bit brighter for all.

The Giving Hearts Volunteers, who give their time to lend a hand with the Abington-Jefferson Health Hospice volunteer program, have organized a holiday craft sale. The public is invited to come and browse through a wide variety of handmade crafts and more, with each item being priced at $5 or more. Only Checks or cash can be accepted, and donations will be greatly appreciated.

The event will also help to mark national Hospice and Palliative Care month, and the funds raised will be used to help support the facility in providing compassionate care to those who make use of the hospice and the programs it provides to people throughout the local area. The organizers of the sale are hoping that every person who comes out will choose to bring along their friends and families to help make it a huge success. Flyers can be utilized to help ensure that an event like this is a success by promoting it throughout the surrounding area.

The fundraiser will be held in the Main Building Lobby of the Abington Health Center in Warminster from November 28 until December 2. Everyone is welcome, and more information about the sale has been made available on the Patch website.
