Friends of Warminster Parks is having a Casino Night at Ann’s Choice multi-purpose room on June 8 from 7:00 pm - 11:00 pm. Tickets are $30 and attendees must be at least 21 years of age.
The night will feature beef and beer, a cash bar, and casino games for fun and prizes. It will be an entertaining evening for friends, business associates, and those who care about the parks of Warminster. The event is a fundraiser for Friends of Warminster Parks with various sponsorships option available: those who donate $1,000 are named on a company banner at the event or can sponsor a table which will feature their company name, while donating $500 will secure a company poster displayed at the event. Companies are also welcome to donate prize items.
The Friends of Warminster Parks is an entirely vounteer-led, non-profit organization that raises funds to help with the improvement and development of the Warminster Township Park System. The group holds meetings once a month at the WREC. One current project which the Friends of Warminster Parks is working on is donating funds to replace all the park Signs in Warminster with new ones made from a durable plastic formed from recycled materials. No doubt local printing companies are working with the Friends and the Warminster Township Park System to design and create those Signs, giving the Park System a more consistent look.
