Fundraiser planned for Warminster area wildlife rehabilitation group

Sick and injured wildlife requires special treatment, and during a new event planned for the Warminster area, the public will have a chance to lend their support to an organization that provides this care.

The Aark Wildlife Rehabilitation and Education Center will be hosting its Enchanted Evening with Wildlife at Rose Bank Winery in Newtown. Guests will be able to enjoy their choice of beer and wine, as well as hors d’ouvres while they socialize and take in a live musical performance.

In addition to the food, drinks and music, the attendees will have an opportunity to take part in animal encounters, which will be facilitated by a member of Aark’s staff. There will also be a silent auction and a photo booth so the guests can have their picture taken as a memento of the evening. Brochures and other materials that give more information about the organization and what it does can be printed to distribute to each of the guess at an event like this.

The monies raised through the event will be used to support the center in its activities. Spring can be an especially busy time of year for the facility, as this is when it receives many calls about baby animals in need of help.

The fundraiser will be held on February 25th from 7:00 until 9:00 pm. Tickets are $90.00 each or $250.00 per couple, and further details and a link to register to attend can be found on the organization’s website.
