The New Britain Township Veterans Committee is presenting its 5th annual Fall Festival and Yard Sale this September. All proceeds from the event will go to the upkeep of Veterans Park.
Currently organizers are seeking people who wish to sell their items at the community yard sale. Space rental costs $5. The festival will also feature commercial and craft vendors, for whom a 10 x 10 foot space is $35.
The festival is also set to feature a car show, dance groups, local bands, and a scavenger hunt. Kids' activities will include ‘touch a truck’ (where participants try to keep their hands on a vehicle for as long as possible), bounce houses, archery, and craft stations. Bucks and Montgomery County Veterans Affairs will be answering visitors’ questions about benefits and the Bucks County Recorder of Deeds will be issuing Veterans ID cards.
The event is sure to attract many visitors and vendors from all over the area, including Warminster. Those renting space may invest in services such as banner printing to draw more attention to what they are selling.
The Fall Festival and Yard Sale is being held at North Branch Park in Chalfont on September 20 from 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM. Admission is free. Contact Angela Benner at 215-822-1391 for more information about the festival.
