A creative course using stained glass is coming to Hanover next month, offering area residents an opportunity to learn new skills and create a stained glass crystal.
The event is geared toward artists of all experience levels, with the course instructor offering a safe and enjoyable environment for beginners to learn new skills. Attendees will learn how to create a unique stained glass crystal to take home for a new decorative piece. The instructor, Colleen Webb, will teach participants to use vibrant colors in a relaxed, friendly learning environment.
Spaces are limited, and interested parties are encouraged to reserve a spot in advance. The skills learned will allow attendees to continue creating stained glass pieces at home. Participants will work with glass, and wearing appropriate clothing and closed-toe shoes is critical to prevent injuries and accidents. Brochure printing is an effective way to share techniques and tips for crafting at such events.
The course is limited to participants 18 and older, and all course participants are required to wear safety glasses. Street parking is available for interested parties, and the course will recommend local restaurants and cafes to help guests remain refreshed.
The Glass Turtle Studio will host the stained glass course on Saturday, June 8th, from noon to 3:00 PM. Interested parties can make reservations to participate online.
