Hanover hosts Halloween fun Saturday
October brings lots of spooky fun, and Hanover will be celebrating the Halloween season with an activity that will encourage locals and visitors alike to discover all its downtown has to offer.
The community's downtown has set the date for its Trick or Treat event, and all little ghosts and goblins are welcome. Parents or guardians can drop by the Main Street Hanover Tent to sign their child up, and this will be located in Center Square.
The families that take part will receive a trick or treat card, which they can present at the participating businesses that will be distributing candy, promotional products and other treats. The kids and parents may wear a costume if they wish, and everyone is encouraged to enter the spirit of the occasion. While the children have fun, the adults can learn more about their local small business community, and the function is part of the Main Street Hanover 2nd Saturdays program.
