Hanover golfers who have been hoping for an excuse to hit the greens will soon have one, and when they play through, they will be doing a good turn for a local community service group.
The 29th annual Hoffman Homes Golf Tournament will take to the course at Hanover Country Club for a day of fun. It can be enjoyed by groups of friends, colleagues, and anyone else who wants to make a positive impact, and all skill levels can take part.
The fundraiser will begin in the late morning with check-in, and the driving range will be open for anyone who would like to get some practice. Lunch will be served, and raffle draws are also in the works before the shotgun start. The evening hours will see everyone retire to the clubhouse for an awards dinner, and while they enjoy the experience, they will be supporting local mental healthcare and other services.
Golf fundraisers can also go a long way towards increasing awareness of a cause. Organizers can order everything from golf balls printed with special graphics to Corporate Gifts to present to the top players.
