Arts and crafts lovers are in for an experience, as a hot air balloon stained glass instructional course is visiting the Hanover area.
The Hot Air Balloon Stained Glass Class will kick off in a few weeks, and Hanover artists and residents seeking a new hobby are invited to join. The event is designed to help each attendee discover new levels of creativity while adding new skills or honing existing ones.
The hands-on learning experience will involve instructors demonstrating the techniques for cutting, designing, and placing pieces of colorful glass to create a hot air balloon for home decor or gifts. No experience is necessary, and interested parties will enjoy a supportive and positive learning environment. Students will receive guidance through each step of the process. Poster printing is an effective way to raise awareness of artistic events like this to reach local artists.
Children will not be allowed at the event, and attendees are welcome to bring snacks and drinks to the learning session to ensure comfort and hydration. Closed lids are required, as the class requires working with glass.
The Glass Turtle Studio will host the stained glass crafting event on Saturday, August 3, starting at noon and ending at 4:00 PM. Parking is available on the street or behind the studio. Due to the small class size, tickets are limited and can be purchased online for $65 per guest.
