A summer celebration is getting ready to pair with sidewalk chalk art to bring the Hanover community together, and area artists and creatives are invited to participate.
The Summer Celebration Chalk Art is just weeks away, and excitement is ramping up among artists in Hanover looking for the chance to leave a colorful and positive mark on the city’s streets and sidewalks. Artists will have access to sidewalk chalk to create bright and uplifting art sure to draw attention to the curb.
The creative outlet is open to interested parties of all ages, making it a fantastic setting for the entire family to get involved. Standard chalk and supplies will be included in the registration cost for the celebration, and participants are welcome to bring their supplies from home. Flyer printing is a superb grassroots resource for promoting community events by placing Flyers in public places.
Registered guests will need to check in at the Main Street tent to receive their supplies. The artwork should be positive and encouraging, using bright colors to add vibrance.
Artists and spectators will meet in Hanover Square in downtown Hanover on Saturday, August 9 starting at 11:00 AM. Interested parties are asked to pay what they can to register, with a suggested donation of $5. The session will be rescheduled in the event of bad weather.
