Shrimp and seafood lovers will want to make a note in their Journals, as a shrimp-based feast and fiesta is in the works near Hanover.
The Shrimp Feed social gathering and feast has a scheduled date in the calendar for next month. The event will bring Hanover area residents together to support a good cause in neighboring New Oxford. The Hanover Area Jaycees are organizing the gathering, and the proceeds will be donated to local charities.
The event is designed as a 21 and over gathering, and interested parties will need to provide a form of valid government identification to gain entry. Attendees can anticipate dancing and live music provided by a DJ for an entertaining experience with friends and family. Several games will also be organized, including 13 Jars, 50/50 raffles, and number boards to help guests leave as winners. Flyer printing is an effective way to promote such gatherings and raise awareness and excitement within the community.
Soda and beer are also included in the price of admission, though visitors are encouraged to drink responsibly. Outside beverages and snacks are allowed in the venue, but food will be served at 7:00 p.m.
The New Oxford Social Club Pavilion will host the shrimp feast on Saturday, February 8th, starting at 5:30 PM. General admission tickets, starting at $35 per person, are available online.
