Oktoberfest: A Taste of Germany is set to kick off in Hanover in a few weeks, giving area residents a memorable way to celebrate German culture, the early days of autumn, and spend quality time with friends and family. The festival will take a closer look at Hanover’s German roots while sharing traditional German food and beverage options.
Interested parties are encouraged to raise their steins and arrive with a full appetite. The festival will be held in downtown Hanover, giving attendees the chance to stroll through Main Street and shop with vendors and small businesses. Local restaurants and food trucks will be tailoring their Menus with a German twist. Food options will include bratwursts and schnitzel, and Hanover’s downtown breweries will have their seasonal selections available for purchase and sampling. Each registered guest will receive one free beer voucher. Attendees who choose to drink are asked to do so responsibly.
Hanover’s Oktoberfest will be held at Center Square downtown on Saturday, September 13th, from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Tickets are available for purchase online for $30 per person.
