A unique shopping experience featuring cookies and hot chocolate is in the works for Hanover, allowing residents to shop for holiday gifts in style.
The Hot Chocolate and Cookie Stroll will welcome attendees to downtown Hanover next month, offering a cozy shopping experience and visits to the town's top stores and boutiques. Attendees will enjoy a walk through the shopping district and access to several types of cookies to munch on as they walk.
Entertainment will be out and about throughout the day, as the event organizers are bringing carolers to town to create a merry environment. Santa’s Cabin will be placed in the town square where children can provide their holiday wish lists and pose for photos with the holiday legend. Flyer printing effectively spreads the word and raises awareness of such events throughout the community.
The event is part of Hanover’s Second Saturdays program, which aims to increase foot traffic in town and aid the growth and development of the small business economy. Interested parties are encouraged to mark their Calendars and support local companies by attending. Each registered guest will receive a commemorative hot cocoa cup to keep.
