Members of the Hanover Area Arts Guild have the opportunity to show off their works this month, provided that work is in the shape of a square.
The Guild's latest exhibition runs for the next few weeks and is called ‘Art in the Square’. The only requirement for the exhibit is that the artwork should be in a square format. Any medium will be accepted from members of the Guild.
The Guild's artist of the month for June is Craig Sheely. A photographer, Sheely's works will also be on display at the gallery.
Founded in 1968, the Arts Guild currently has more than 150 members, consisting of crafters and artists working in a range of different media. Along with serving its member artists, the Guild also offers a number of classes to the public, including ones in jewelry-making, drawing, and printmaking.
Located in downtown Hanover, the gallery is typically open Tuesday through Saturday. Hours on Tuesday and Thursday are 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. On Wednesdays and Fridays, the gallery is open from 12:00 pm until 7:00 pm. It's open from 10:00 am until 3:00 pm on Saturdays, although it will be closed this Saturday, June 7.
Exhibitions like this one, which is scheduled through June 28, often seek the help of printing companies offering services like poster and postcard printing.
