The Hanover Chamber of Commerce will be changing the Hanover Dutch Festival into a new community fair in September.

The Snack Town Street Fair is the rebranded version of the community’s Hanover Dutch Festival. The original event was a celebration of the area’s Dutch heritage, though the focus has transitioned to a broader collection of local vendors and entertainers over time. The fair will feature various fun activities for the family, including live music from The Reagan Years cover band and a kids’ carnival.

The event will be inviting booths from non-profit groups, crafts creators, and street food vendors. Businesses interested in participating in the Snack Town Street Fair can apply to the Hanover Chamber of Commerce. The cost of each event space starts at $125, and participating merchants must provide their own tables, chairs, and tents. Electricity is not supplied to the booths by the festival. People who set up stalls at fairs like this can use banner printing to raise their brand’s visibility.

The street fair will be held on September 18 from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. There are no admission fees or registration requirements to attend the event. Most of the festival will be open to all ages, though a few sections will be reserved for those over 21. Pets should not be brought to the fair.
