York Adventure Camps will be holding a week-long camp for kids and teens in July at the Penn Grove Retreat in Hanover.
The Boys Adventure Camp is a unique experience where campers can develop their leadership abilities, make friends, and hone lifelong skills. Guests have the freedom to choose which activities they wish to join during their camping trip. The program offers several types of experiences, including swimming, athletic games, and science-related activities. Campers are not allowed to bring their cellphones or other electronic devices to the retreat.
This year, the camp will be implementing some changes to keep children safe during the pandemic. Most activities will be conducted outdoors and will consist of small groups. The venue has a designated isolation area for campers who start to show any Signs of COVID-19. Guests will also have access to handwashing stations and sanitizers. Organizations planning camps like this can use brochure printing to list their safety measures for parents to view.
The adventure camp will be held from Monday, July 12 to Friday, July 16. The day camp program is designed for campers aged 5-18 and will cost $155 per child. Daily sessions at the retreat will last from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. The company also offers a sleepaway package for $195. Those who enter the program will receive a T-shirt, lunch, and snacks.
