Hanover to offer parenting workshop

The Ballroom on Broadway will be hosting a presentation in July on how parents can improve their children’s self-esteem.

Building Your Child’s Resiliency and Self-Esteem is a seminar organized by WellSpan Health that aims to help parents improve the mental health of their kids. The lesson will show attendees the simple steps they can use to start helping their children immediately. The information offered at the seminar can also help parents strengthen their relationships with their kids.

WellSpan Health is a behavioral health organization that offers several services for adults, children, and seniors. The company has over 20,000 employees and more than 200 patient care locations throughout Pennsylvania. The organization also partners with notable groups like Johns Hopkins Medicine.

The presenters for the program are Rachel Vucic and Tara Stout. Vucic is a Clinical Program Manager for WellSpan Health who also has experience as an allied mental health professional and after-school program manager. She also attended the Millersville University of Pennsylvania and the University of Pittsburgh. Stout is also a Clinical Manager at WellSpan Health and a graduate of Widener University and the York College of Pennsylvania.

The program will be on Wednesday, July 12th and will begin at 6:00 pm. There is no need for attendees to pay for the presentation, though they can reserve a spot in advance. Events like this may be promoted to parents by using flyer printing services.
