The Public House at The Markets in Hanover will host a concert in July to support independent singers.

Pirates in the Harbour is a fundraising event where people can help the Trop Rock Music Association (TRMA) while listening to talented bands. This year, the line-up will include performers like the Chris Sacks Duo, John Allan Miller, and Amber Peirce. The money raised for TRMA’s Artists Relief Foundation will support independent singers, songwriters, and musicians during times of need. The theme for Saturday’s show will be Surrender the Booty.

Attendees can also take part in other activities to help benefit the TRMA during the concerts. There will be a raffle where guests may win items from Trop Rock artists, such as CDs, T-Shirts, and signed merchandise. People can even participate in the Sail to the Ale Brewery Crawl, which is an event that visits local businesses like the Sign of the Horse Brewery and Something Wicked Brewing Company. Attendees can either travel to each venue themselves or be led by a local volunteer.

The fundraising concert will be held from July 28 to July 30. General admission for all three days of the event will cost $85 per person. Raffle tickets can be bought for $5 each. The price is reduced for those who purchase their tickets in bulk. Groups that organize community concerts similar to this may use printing services to make advertisements.
