Hanover to hold plant workshop for kids

The Succulent Hippie will be holding a holiday activity for children at Shoe Orthodontics in Hanover.

The Kids Christmas Succulent Workshop is an event where children can work on a decorative succulent planter. Those in the activity will receive a jade succulent plant, soil, and figurines to place in the crafts project. Only one adult may attend the workshop alongside the child to help them with the planter. After the workshop is completed, guests can take a picture with the Grinch. People who attend the event may have their photographs used in the organizer’s future promotional materials.

The Succulent Hippie is a business in Hanover that sells many kinds of plant-related goods, including flower candles, and house plants. The owner of the store is Shannon Strevig, who was initially interested in becoming a nurse. Strevig’s organization can make decorative pieces for events such as weddings and bridal parties. The store also allows local artists to showcase their work by giving them shelf space in the business.

The succulent workshop will be held on Friday, December 16. Guests can book their session from 3:00 pm to 4:30 pm, or from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm. Tickets for the crafting activity will cost $25 per student. Businesses that hold informative workshops like this may use printing services to share their programs with their target audience.
