The organization Main Street Hanover (MSH) will be holding an event in October where attendees can partake in themed activities.
Spooky Spirits is a festival held in Downtown Hanover that welcomes guests to browse local businesses while wearing costumes. Those who attend the event dressed up can enter the costume competition. Attendees of legal drinking age will be allowed to try beer, cider, and wine samples as they stroll throughout the city. The activity will occur rain or shine, and all proceeds from it will go towards MSH.
Main Street Hanover first launched in 2013 to improve the economic capacity of Downtown Hanover while increasing community synergy. The organization is a collaborative effort of local groups such as the Hanover Area Chamber of Commerce and the Partnership for Economic Development of York County. MSH hosts many events, including Downtown Glows and the Wellness Crawl. Groups similar to this may share their special activities with the public by using printing services to make Banners and Flyers.
Spooky Spirits will take place on Friday, October 1 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Those who register for the festival in advance can buy general admission tickets for $25 and designated driver passes for $5. People who purchase tickets on the day of the activity will need to pay $34 for standard admission and $7 for designated drivers.
