The Guthrie Memorial Library in Hanover will hold a presentation in June discussing finances during retirement.
The 5 Keys to Retiring Fearlessly is a discussion offered by Patricia Hegberg where people can feel more confident about their futures by learning how to manage their finances. Hegberg is an experienced financial associate who has worked at the company Thrivent for more than two years. Attendees will learn how to achieve their retirement goals and discover what their sources of income could be while at the seminar. Guests will also be told how to protect themselves from “what-if” questions.
Thrivent is a company that sells insurance products to consumers and offers services such as financial guidance and charitable giving solutions. Several organizations have benefited from the business’ contributions, including the Eichelberger Performing Arts Center, Hanover Area Historical Society, and Main Street Hanover. The financial professionals at Thrivent do not offer legal, accounting, or tax-related advice.
Hegberg’s retirement seminar will take place on June 7 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm and will be organized by Ryan Bankert. There is no cost for library patrons to take part in the presentation, though guests should register for the financial discussion. The intended audiences for the seminar include teens, adults, and seniors. Libraries that invite people to give educational presentations on topics such as this may use flyer printing to get more patrons interested in the show.
