This February, Hanover, Pennsylvania’s YMCA branch will be closing the registration for their springtime adult sports leagues.
The YMCA is home to several different sports that play games throughout the year, allowing the public to participate by entering their teams into the competition. Before each spring, registration opens for the popular adult coed volleyball and adult basketball leagues. Every group that registers will be given the opportunity to play 10 matches against other competing teams, with both sports including a playoff tournament.
Everyone joining either league is allowed to come up with names for their teams. All groups that enter are required to bring personalized jerseys to the sporting event. Teams are welcome to use Logo Design to customize their jerseys, so long as the attire of the members is appropriate and the same color. The winners of each tournament will not only win a trophy, but will also receive a discount for the next time they sign up for a league.
Registration for the adult coed volleyball league will close on February 5, costing $200 for each team to enter. Anyone registering for the adult basketball league needs to sign up by February 24 with a payment of $270. Basketball teams will also be required to pay a $30 referee fee paid in cash before each game of the season.
