Auto club to have summer picnic in Hanover

The Gettysburg Region’s Antique Automobile Club of America will be organizing a picnic in July at Codorus State Park in Hanover.

Members of the Gettysburg Region of the Antique Automobile Club of America (GRAACA) are invited to attend a summer picnic where they can interact with fellow club members in a comfortable environment. The organization will be providing hot dogs, hamburgers, drinks, and utensils. Attendees are asked to bring their favorite dishes or desserts to the event and write down their recipes to share with other guests. The picnic will take place inside the air-conditioned classroom building near the park’s lake.

The GRAACA is an organization that formed in 1950 under the name of The Brass Age Car Club. The group became known as the GRAACA and first appeared in the Antique Automobile magazine in 1954. The organization coordinates many events for its members, including Trains, Planes & Automobiles and the 47th Annual Eastern Museum of Motor Racing Convention & Car Cruise. Organizers for club programs like these may use flyer printing to ensure members are aware of the events.

The GRAACA Summer Picnic will take place on Sunday, July 10. Guests can arrive as early as 11:00 am, and the food will begin being served at 1:00 pm. The cost to participate in the picnic will be $5 per member, and all attendees must register for the club’s activity by July 3.
