Doylestown gardeners are about to be treated to an opportunity to get a jump start on the growing season, thanks to a local event.
The Tamanend Park Herb Gardening Club recently announced that it has plans in the works for the return of its annual herb sale. This fundraiser tends to be a popular activity, and the monies that are raised will help students who attend horticultural college programming meet their tuition and other expenses.
The shoppers at the function will be able to make their selection from the herb starts and other items on offer, and there will be a variety of handcrafted items on sale as well. There will be personnel on hand to aid the customers in their buying choices, and they will also be able to provide planting tips.
Herb and horticultural sales often prove to be effective fundraising events for gardening clubs and other not for profit organizations. Plant tags, care sheets, reusable cloth Totes and clothing for the volunteers at these activities can all be sourced from a local printing services supplier.
This opportunity to purchase locally grown herb starts has been scheduled for May 15th. It will be up and running from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm. The organizers explained that anyone who would like to make a monetary donation can do so by contacting the group.Get a Free Quote for Totes
