Doylestown workshops to make good manners fun
Kids who register for a series of classes offered by Doylestown Parks and Recreation will discover the rules for socializing.
Boys and girls alike can benefit from learning the basics of etiquette, and instructors from Your Charming Child will facilitate three workshops that will be held in late June. They will introduce topics such as table manners, making a great first impression, and how to make friends, and when the series wraps up, the kids will each receive a special certificate to recognize their achievement.
The instructor for each of the sessions will incorporate fun in the learning, and a snack and two-course meal are included as well. The registrants will make crafts, learn songs and even dress up, and “Miss Mistakes” will use humor to show how important good manners can be in a social situation.
