The dog days of summer will soon be here, and in Doylestown, that means it is almost time for a weekend of classic cars.
Doylestown at Dusk is an annual car show that has been held in the community for several years. Scheduled for a Saturday in mid-July, there will be lots more fun to enjoy besides the vehicles.
In previous years, the show has attracted hundreds of entries, and its organizers are hoping that this year will also prove to be a similar success. The public is welcome to drop by and view the displays and take in the awards ceremony, and along with showcasing local vintage and other vehicles, the function will put a spotlight on entertainers from the area. The crowd can purchase a bite to eat at one of the nearby restaurants.
The planners of the activity have issued a call to the community for volunteers who would like to lend a helping hand. Stationery printers can design certificates of thanks and provide Corporate Gifts to present to helpers at an event to give them a tip of the hat for their support.
The Doylestown at Dusk car show and community celebration will be held on Saturday, July 20. The rain date is the following day, July 21, and it will be held in the community’s downtown.
