Doylestown set to dig in for environment

It has been said that when one plants a tree, it is an investment in the future, and a call has gone out seeking helping hands for an environmental advocacy project.

An initiative at Doylestown’s Peace Valley Park with a goal of expanding its tree canopy, and the final session for the year is scheduled for early November. The tools needed will be supplied, and each one installed will make a big environmental impact.

Bucks Beautiful will host the activity, and everyone is asked to bring a pair of gloves. A total of 25 larger trees will be planted, providing both food and living space for wildlife. This is part of the 350 that have been planted in the park so far. While drop-ins may participate, the organizers have requested advance registration, as this will make planning the project a lot easier. Everyone who is interested is asked to be on site by 9:00 am sharp.

An environment service project does a good turn for Mother Nature and can provide a sense of satisfaction. Stationery printers will be happy to provide small gifts to present to those who rolled up their sleeves to help with an activity, and these show that their efforts are appreciated.

This chance to be part of an activity that will make a positive impact for a long time to come has been scheduled for November 7th. Additional details about the meet up location and other information is available on the Bucks Beautiful website.
