A car show combo will be wowing Doylestown vintage vehicle buffs this summer, and it is expected that at least 400 cars will be rolling in for the occasion.
The community of Perkasie will be transforming two locations into huge outdoor car shows, and in the past, it has attracted several thousand visitors. This year, the “Under the Stars” will be combined with “The British are Coming” car show, which will be set up at Ragtops and Roadsters, and special awards will be presented for this section.
To thank exhibitors for coming out, the first 400 vehicles to arrive will receive a dash plaque, and these will sport a custom graphic design. The winners in the various categories will receive trophies, and a selection of these will be sponsored by area businesses. Applications from any vendors that would like to get involved are welcome, and there are volunteer positions to fill as well.
Decor for outdoor summer activities like this will be available at area banner printing companies. Many of their products can be customized to suit almost any occasion or budget, and it will be able to aid its customers in making their selections.
August 20 will see these two events delight area car buffs. Penn Community Bank at 219 South 9th Street will be the location for the “Under the Stars” portion of the occasion.
