Doylestown is getting ready to shred as part of an event that will help to prevent cyber fraud and other security breaches.
A mobile shred unit will be parked in front of the Central Bucks Activity Center for a Shredding Day, which is being offered thanks to Independence Blue Cross and Delaware Valley Brokerage. Items dropped off will be shredded and disposed of securely, with no fee being charged for the service.
Anyone who is interested is invited to bring their old tax records, financial documents, medical records, credit card statements, and any other paperwork that contains personal information to the event. The shredding truck will be parked on site for three hours, and people do not need to sign up in advance to take advantage of the service. Questions about the activity may be directed to the planners at 215-781-3570, or may be found on its Patch listing.
The success of a function like this often depends upon choosing appropriate and effective marketing materials. A flyer printing company will have options for this, and can aid its clientele in choosing the ones that are a good fit for their needs and budget.
This free community shred has been scheduled for Friday, August 16 starting at 10:00 am. The truck will continue to accept materials until its departure time of 1:00 pm.
