A popular 80s movie that combined the talents of Jim Henson and musician David Bowie will be screened in Doylestown’s Mercer Museum, and this outdoor event is open to everyone.
The film tells the story of how a 14-year-old girl must rescue her little brother from the Goblin King, and it is rated PG. An alternative date has been set in case of inclement weather, and the movie will start once the sun goes down.
When members of the public arrive for the evening, they will check in at a table manned by County Theater staff, and those who purchased their passes in advance will be able to have them scanned for entry. Tickets will also be on offer at the gate. Anyone who pre-ordered popcorn can pick it up, and it, along with bottled water, will also be available on a first come, first served basis. Folding chairs and blankets are highly recommended, and insect repellent may also come in handy.
A poster printing company will be able to lend a hand in promoting a movie event. It can craft cinema-style Posters to place throughout a community to let everyone know when and where an activity will take place.
This retro movie night will be on offer at 84 South Pine Street on October 20th. It will start at 7:00 pm.
