Doylestown fundraiser to help Easter Bunny

Students at a Doylestown school have come up with an outside-the-box fundraising idea to add an extra touch of excitement to the Easter season.

The Central Bucks High School Band has organized a fundraiser that will see its members lend a hand to local families as they prepare for a traditional egg hunt. They will take on the task rain or shine, and this offer is available to households in the Chalfont, Jamison, Warrington, and New Britain communities, as well as Doylestown.

The students will come to the house of each registrant to hide brightly colored plastic eggs that will be filled with treats for the kids. These will include small toys and candy, and there are four days to choose from, each with several timeslots. Those that take advantage of the offer can choose from having the eggs hidden or scattered on the lawn so they will be easy for the littlest hunters to find.

Coming up with a unique idea is one way of helping to make sure a fundraiser will meet its goals. A flyer printing company will be able to aid in making sure as many as possible are aware that a particular campaign is underway.

The Central Bucks High School band will be lending the Bunny a helping hand on April 9, 10, 15, and 16. Parents are welcome to reserve their timeslot today.
