Doylestown car event gets its engine roaring

The Doylestown Rotary Club is once again holding its Doylestown at Dusk Car Show in just a couple of weeks.

In addition to the cars and other vehicles on display, patrons will be able to enjoy music, food, and more on the downtown Doylestown streets.

Any and every kind of car, truck, or motorbike is welcome to enter. The entry fee is $15 for those who register prior to July 11. After that date, participants will be charged $20. Registration ends at 4:00 pm on the day of the event. Attendance, as well as parking in the county parking garage, is free. A complimentary shuttle runs from the garage to the downtown area in which the show is being held.

In addition to the wide range of vehicles on display, numerous vendor booths will be on hand, including some sponsored by local restaurants. Events such as this can be a valuable promotional tool, especially for eateries. By selling a select few items and utilizing promotional materials obtained from their Stationery printers, local restaurants can boost sales.

For non-gearheads, the event includes fun, non-auto related activities for kids and adults alike, such as trivia games, face painting, and a climbing wall. It is scheduled for July 19 from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm. In the event of rain, it will be postponed to the following day.
