Doylestown has a reputation for being an active community, and an upcoming event will give all its residents a way to get out and enjoy some fresh air and exercise.
The Doylestown Jingle Bell Turkey Trot will combine two holiday celebrations into one huge event, and it will be hosted by Market at DelVal. There will be 10K and 5K options for the older runners, while the younger ones can take to the pavement in the fun run and walk.
All the runs and walks will be taking place on the US 202 Parkway, which will provide a unique venue for the activity. Once everyone returns to the staging area, there will be a variety of fun holiday-themed activities, and a special guest has booked a helicopter to come in just for the occasion. The kids and adults alike will be able to meet Santa, and the whole celebration will be high-energy and full of fun.
This sort of function tends to attract a lot of participants, and a printing services company will be the people to call for finisher’s medals that feature a special graphic design. These can be given to each participant to thank them and recognize their accomplishment.
The event will be kicking off the holiday season on November 28. Everyone is invited to lace up their sneakers and enjoy the celebration.
