Car show will benefit local charities

The 6th annual 4UDrew Benefit Car Show and Festival is taking place next month in Doylestown.

The event is a fundraiser for the 4UDrew Foundation which supports several local charities, including a Lasalle College High School scholarship fund and the Our Mother of Sorrows soup kitchen.

The show is expected to attract cars and bicycles from all over Bucks County. Registration is $15 per vehicle until July 31 and $20 after, all those who register will receive a goodie bag packed with promotional material from local businesses and organizations. The vehicles will compete for such awards as Drew's Choice, Best of Show, Best Paint, and Most Unique. There will also be awards for the top 25 in classes like Domestic, Hot Rod, Antique, and Import.

There will also be local vendors, games, musical entertainment, raffles, and food for purchase.

The 4UDrew Foundation is in honor of Drew Panettieri, a 19-year-old graduate of Lasalle College High School who died in a motocross accident in 2006.

Car enthusiasts from all over Bucks County, including Lansdale, will likely take a short trip to view some of the vehicles on display. Stationery printers may provide Flyers to help spread the word.

The 4UDrew Benefit Car Show and Festival will take place on August 2 at Doylestown Central Park, and the rain date is August 9. Visit the Facebook page for more information.
