Ruse Brewing plans to open third taproom and more

Southeast Portland’s Ruse Brewing has announced plans to open a third taproom location, which will also include its second Crust Collective pizzeria.

Ruse, which began operations on the city’s southeast side in 2018, will be opening its third location in the Slabtown neighborhood of Northwest Portland at the location where Please Louise sold pizzas until its very recent closure. According to the co-founders of Ruse, Devin Benware and Shaun Kalis their newest taproom will be a stylish destination. They contend that it will fit seamlessly into Slabtown’s retail district and will be equally appropriate for enjoying a game over a casual pint or date night featuring high-end cocktails.

Grand openings are often announced with the assistance of banner printing services.

Additionally, as a corner lot the property has ample windows and as these window open and there will be sidewalk seating it will be possible to create a unique indoor – outdoor vibe. Benware elaborated on the partner’s plan for the taproom saying:

“There’s going to be really cool tile, bar tops, tons of plants, and the music will be lively. … We just want to make the best possible experience for people that come through the doors.”

Work is underway to redesign the location’s interior using lots of bright colors and brighter lighting. Benware and Kalis are aiming for an opening date in November.
