The world’s largest Christmas choral festival, Portland’s Grotto’s Christmas Festival of Lights is almost here offering almost 160 indoor holiday concerts along with a variety of other holiday fun activities.
While choirs from local schools, churches and civic group sing in the Chapel of Mary, featuring amazing cathedral-like acoustics, the Grotto’s Plaza offers continual entertainment options. Puppet shows take place at the top of every hour, and outdoor caroling performed by the Grotto Carolers at the bottom of every hour.

Although all entertainment areas are within a tent or indoors, the Festival of Lights is nevertheless a walk-through event where visitors can anticipate walking approximately a quarter of a mile.
