Popular food festival returning in late July

FoodieLand, the largest traveling food festival in the country, is set to return to Portland in July.

More than 250 food vendors will set up shop at the event, which prides itself on being about more than just food. The festival focuses on uniting the community through local musical talent, flavors from all over the world, and small businesses and artisan shops. Many of them have unique logo designs available on merchandise that visitors can purchase. The festival states that it aims to be a place where people gather to celebrate their community and create unforgettable moments.

Festival guests can purchase tickets online prior to the event, and the tickets are refundable for up to 14 days. There are no tickets available at the door. Children ages 5 and under are free. Only service animals are permitted at the festival.

Festival organizers highly recommend using public transportation to attend. Those who do drive are encouraged to carpool. Parking is $15 per vehicle and is handled by the venue. ADA parking accommodations are available. Once inside the event, guests can stay as long as they'd like, and they are encouraged to arrive early.

Portland Expo Center will host the festivals from July 31 through August 2. Event hours will be Friday, July 31, from 3-10 pm, Saturday, August 1, from 1-10 pm, and Sunday, August 2, from 1-10 pm. The Portland Expo Center is located at 2025 North Expo Road.
