May is Oregon Wine Month, which promises to be the ideal time for wine lovers to invite out-of-town friends to visit and indulge in their passion, either in the surrounding wine country or right here in Portland.
Hundreds of vineyards are located within an hour’s drive from Portland; however, to enjoy their fruits, wine lovers need not leave Portland. Over 30 wineries are tucked throughout the city’s numerous neighborhoods, with virtually every variety of grape growing in the state having found its way to Portland to be transformed into wine by city winemakers.
Flyer printing services are particularly useful in promoting a local event or venue as they can target a specific area and thereby have control over the number of people seeing the advertisement.
Along with the rest of Oregon, the Willamette Valley is going all out, beginning promptly with the May 1 celebrations of the state’s wine industry with special promotions, and activities will commence and continue on through the last day of the month.
However, there is more to enjoy than the fruit of the vine and its intoxicating taste and effects. Those visiting during the celebratory month will find that in addition to the city’s wineries and the surrounding vineyards, there are plenty of other unique food and drink experiences that can be found as well. Portland is home to 70 breweries, close to 30 coffee roasters, and approximately 1,700 restaurants.
