The Best of Portland party is taking place next month. It is hosted by Willamette Week and proceeds will be donated to Schoolyard Farms.
Readers of Willamette Week voted for the companies and organizations they considered to be the best in the city. Some of the categories were food and drink, local business, nightlife, and arts and culture. Many of the winners will be on hand at the party to sell products including Eyes! On Broadway and Cycle Dog. Wine and beer will also be available for purchase. In addition, there will be food cards and several bars serving a variety of drinks.
Interactive yoga demonstrations will take pace, dancing to the music of XRAY-FM and adoptable pets from the Oregon Humane Society. A number of community organizations will be there to provide the public with information about their programs and services.
Schoolyard Farms is an organization that builds working farms in schoolyards to give students experience in growing their own food.
No doubt some of the community organizations will be handing out Promotional Products such as Pens, which may have been provided by a Portland printing services company.
