The long-awaited opening of the downtown Portland Ritz-Carlton hotel is close at hand, with a ribbon-cutting event scheduled.
The recently constructed 35-story Ritz-Carlton Residences is a $600 million project that was initially predicted to open in “late summer”. This was moved back to sometime in October, without a concrete date being set. The developer, BPM Real Estate Group, attributed these delays to supply chain issues.
Despite ambiguous information from the hotel’s website and the Marriott booking website saying “Opening 2023”, an announcement was made recently that a ribbon cutting ceremony would take place on October 31. Despite the conflicting information, reservations are currently being accepted.

The new hotel, which is located at Southwest 9th and Washington, broke ground in 2020. It contains 132 condos and 251 hotel rooms. Condo prices will range from $1.3 to $8 million; hotel rooms costs will begin at $575 per night.
The Portland Ritz-Carlton will offer 16,000 square feet of space for meetings and events. This will include a restaurant and ballroom with a combined space of 8,000 square feet.
The property now occupied by the hotel was formally the location of a food cart pod. Soon, locals will once again be able enjoy meals here at Flock, the hotel’s ground floor food hall.Get a Free Quote for Business Cards Get a Free Quote for Stationery Get a Free Quote for Menus
