Tasting rooms in the Willametta Valley have suffered from a reduction in foot traffic; however, Sokol Blosser Winery has come up with a solution, the mobile Evolution Wine Bar.
Debuting May 23 through June 8, at the Rose Festival CityFair in the Tom McCall Waterfront Park, the Evolution Wine Bar should be easy to spot. Housed in a retro-style trailer in what has been described as electric colors. Favorites from the Evolution line of wines such as Big Time Red Wine, Lucky No. 9 White Wine and brain freezing an icy frosé will be available.
The Evolution Wine Bar was preceded by the winery’s earlier outreach initiative called “Sokol Blosser Comes to You” whereby the wine tasting experience was delivered to private parties, corporate events or individual’s homes. Rental of the Evolution Wine Bar for private events including weddings and house parties is possible, where in addition to the Evolution wines Sokol Blosser wines may also be available.
New attractions and venues benefit from the use of banner printing services.
Alex Sokol Blosser, a second-generation winegrower and the winery president, launched the Evolution wine brand in 1998. The Evolution line of wines are sold by the glass as well as when and where permissible by the bottle.
In addition to the Rose Festival CityFair, Sokol Blosser’s “Summer Pour Tour” will offer Portland residents another chance to experience the Evolution Wine Bar on July 4-5 at the Waterfront Blues Festival.
