Portland has a reputation as a hip location with its own unique style, and those responsible for thrusting the city in the national fashion spotlight over the last few years will be recognized.
This November, the Portland Fashion and Style Awards (PFSA) will be held for the eighth year in a row. Those who have helped create Portland’s unique style and made it nationally known - businesses, local designers and trendsetters, will be celebrated.
Events such as this one require a lot of planning and dealing with a multitude of small yet nevertheless important details such as working with printing services to have programs designed and printed.
The PFSA this year will be hosted by Poison Waters, an icon in Portland fashion and the award presenters will be Portland’s prominent leader in fashion, business, and philanthropy.
The event being held November 10 will begin with live interviews during a red carpet entrance that begins at 4:30 pm. The event’s venue, the Portland Art Museum, will host two fashion shows beginning at 6:00 pm followed by an after-party featuring Hit Machine, a popular Portland band.
General admission guests may purchase snacks while VIP guests will have food served to them. The PFSA is a red carpet show, so guests are asked to dress accordingly. The event is designed to celebrate the accomplishment of the outstanding design talent in the city’s fashion and style industry in 25 distinct categories.
