There are two events taking place next month that will raise funds for the Southern Oregon Humane Society (SoHumane) located in Medford.
The first event will be the Wine and Dine Benefit. It will be hosted by John Bartow and Jeff Lindow. Guests will enjoy a five-course meal prepared by Chef John, along with five local wines including ‘Dancing Cats’ wine. After their meal, guests will have the opportunity to meet with some adoptable dogs and cats.
The next day will feature the 6th annual Janette Krook Memorial Dog Wash and Barbeque. This event actually will happen twice, the first time being on July 23. In addition to having the opportunity to bathe their dogs, guests can bid on a silent auction. They can also enjoy breakfast burritos and a barbecue lunch with burgers, hot dogs, potato salad, and other tasty treats.
Flyers advertising both of these events have been distributed in the Medford area to encourage dog lovers to attend.
The Wine and Dine Benefit will be held at Bartow Gardens on August 26 beginning at 6:00 PM. Tickets are $50 and reservations are necessary.
The Janette Krook Memorial Dog Wash and Barbecue will take place at Cascade Self Storage on August 27. Donations will be gratefully accepted.
