R&B legends headline Medford-area concert

A Medford-area venue will be the stomping grounds for an Earth, Wind & Fire concert. The iconic band will perform at the Britt Pavilion in Jacksonville.

Formed in 1969 by founder Maurice White, the band takes the elemental forces of its namesake as inspiration. More than 50 years later, the band is still highly active, gaining new fans over the years with the uplifting combination of funk, soul, and R&B.

Hits like September, Let’s Groove, and Reasons are just a few of the examples of the many tunes the band has found commercial success and critical acclaim with over the years. In total, Earth, Wind & Fire has eight number one hits to its name, and has won nine Grammy Awards.

The group is also one of the best-selling bands of all time, since it is sold over 100 million albums worldwide. The band has been honored with numerous lifetime achievement acknowledgments, including being inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2000 and being given a Kennedy Center Honors in Washington DC in 2019.

Musical performances like these may choose to use brochure printing for setlists, audience programs, or informational pamphlets.
