The planting season is about to spring into the Medford area, and a special event will help the community to celebrate its arrival.
The Jackson County Master Gardeners Association gives those who enjoy home horticulture a way of sharing their knowledge and skills with others, and the organization will once again be hosting its annual Spring Garden Fair. It will be a family-friendly function where the wearing of masks is highly encouraged.
For one day, the Jackson County Expo, located at 1 Peninger Road in Central Point, will be the site of a large horticulturally themed gathering. Everyone who attends the festivities can buy some new plants, with vegetables, trees, flowers, and shrubs all on offer. Books will be available for purchase, and there will be Master Gardeners in attendance to answer questions and supply advice. The event will be open for six hours, and entry starts at $5.
Many garden clubs choose to host plant market fundraisers during the spring, and these pop-up sales are often popular. A flyer printing company will have an assortment of cost-effective ways to market these activities to the local public.
The 2022 Jackson County Master Gardeners Spring Garden Fair will be popping into the community on Saturday, May 21. It will be open to shoppers from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm.
