Medford will soon be lighting up the night-time winter sky when it hosts a special celebration at Pear Blossom Park.
Medford Parks, Recreation and Facilities has teamed up with Lithia4Kids to bring the Medford Winter Lights Festival to the city. This night-time celebration will welcome the whole family, and there will be four hours of festivities.
The function will open with a Candy Cane Hunt for the little ones, and this will be followed by the tree lighting and Mayor Fireworks. A variety of community partners will have booths set up where they may be distributing Promotional Products to the crowd, and everyone can pose for some photos with The Big Guy in Red. Everyone can choose their favorite fare from the food trucks, and Rex, the Park & Rec mascot, will be on hand to circulate among the guests for photo ops. The winners of the community's coloring contest will be announced at this time.

The Medford Winter Lights Festival will open with the candy cane hunt starting at 4:30 pm on December 3. The celebration will wrap up at 8:30 pm.
