Thanks to a local initiative, a rolling medical clinic offers services to people throughout Jackson County. It will be making a stop in Medford, and the public is invited to access its services on a drop-in basis.
The La Clinica Mobile Health Center provides a range of services to those who may not have easy access to medical care, and dental treatments may also be available, It will be staffed by nurse practitioners, nurses, dental, and medical assistants, as well as dentists and doctors, and the fees will be on a sliding scale for those who are experiencing financial difficulty.
Anyone who would like to take advantage of this offer can stop by the mobile clinic, which will be parked at the Medford Gospel Mission. Appointments are not needed, but those who require urgent care will be seen first.
The operators of the La Clinica Mobile Health Center explained that they are grateful for the support it has received from its federal partners. It is the first clinic of its type in the county, and a printing services provider can design vehicle wraps and other marketing materials that can help to spread the word to the public about this sort of mobile healthcare services provider.
La Clinica is scheduled to roll in to the parking lot at the Medford Gospel Mission on March 3. It will be open from 8:30 am until 12:00 noon.
