Home gardeners who would like to take their horticultural skills to the next level will learn how to do so during the “Cut Flower and Foliage Garden” workshop that will be facilitated by a subject matter expert at Shooting Star Nursery. Those who work in the landscaping industry may receive continuing education units (CEU) for their participation, and both single and couples tickets are on offer.
During the class, the attendees will learn how they can create a cutting garden that includes flowering perennials, annuals, and even some shrubs and trees. Tips for choosing species and cultivars that will do well in the local area will be shared, and the value in selecting varieties that do well under drought conditions is also on the agenda for discussion.
