A Medford neighborhood will be entering into the spirit of the season this year by welcoming the public to view its lighted displays.
Greystone Court will be celebrating the arrival of the holidays by hosting a Light Parade, which can be enjoyed by all ages. To help make the season brighter for those in need, everyone is asked to make a generous donation of non-perishable food, which will be distributed by a local community service agency.
This annual event has proved to be popular, and many of the neighborhood’s homes choose to take part. It will be up and running for four days, and local families are encouraged to include it in their December plans. As well as food, donations of cash will be gratefully accepted, and ACCESS will ensure that both the monetary contributions, food and other gifts in kind will reach those who need them the most.
Hosting a light parade can give almost any size of community a way to celebrate the festive season, and these are often combined with food drives and other charitable activities. A banner printing company can supply signage for the occasion, as well as materials that increase public awareness so that it can reach its fundraising goals.
The Greystone Court Holiday of Lights Food Drive will be lighting up the night in Medford from December 21 to December 24. It will be open for tours from 5:30 pm until 9:30 pm.
